Townsite News
It has been quite a while since we've updated the blog, but there has been a lot going on. The City of Powell River seems to be plowing ahead with plans to put a consolidated sewage treatment plant right in front of the houses along Marine Avenue. You can learn more at www.prwwc.com
We are also trying a subscription service. If you would like to subscribe to our Monthly Meeting Agenda notices and/or the Mill Odour Updates, please check out the new list subscription form at the right :)

SUMMER 2010
Due to summer absences, it was decided at the June 2010 meeting to skip the July & August 2010 meetings; however, if anything develops over the next few weeks, the executive may call a meeting July 15 or 22. The next regularly scheduled meeting will be September 9, 2010.
Recent meetings have discussed the need for a Community Emergency Response Plan for Townsite. At the June meeting, Townsite resident Gary Amundsen volunteered to lead development. Anyone interested in volunteering to assist with this should contact one of the Ratepayers Executive.
