UPCOMING MEETINGS
TOWNSITE RATEPAYERS MEETINGS The Townsite Ratepayers meet at 7:00pm on the second Thursday of each month at St. David & St. Paul Anglican Church, 6310 Sycamore Street. Everyone is welcome.
The Townsite Heritage Society AGM will be held Thursday March 26 @ 7:15pm at the Heritage Society offices located in the old Postmaster's house, 5865 Ash Street.
ROLE OF THE ASSOCIATION
1. To provide Townsite residents with a forum for communication to share of ideas and concerns
2. To monitor City Council discussions and actions that impact Townsite residents
3. To identify issues that affect Townsite residents
4. To plan positive actions to promote the interests and deal with issues of concern to Townsite residents
5. To bring issues of importance to Townsite residents to the attention of the City Council, and to provide positive recommendations for dealing with issues
6. To communicate with other ratepayers’ associations, and to identify common issues and recommended solutions
