City Council is holding a Special Council Meeting Friday May 2 at 9 a.m. to consider the Annual Tax Rates Bylaw.
Friday's meeting is for the first three reads of the Annual Rate Bylaws. These are the actual rates that will be applied against the Assessment Roll to determine the individual taxes. So far Council has only given three reads to the Five-Year Annual Plan and the Water and Sewer rate bylaws. This will be the last of the annual rate setting bylaws required statutorily.
